Acceptance
By downloading or using Candoa Browser, or by using the candoa.app services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app or the services. These terms are provided in English.
Alpha software
Candoa Browser is alpha software. Features may change, break, or be removed, and data loss is possible. Please keep backups of anything important and expect rough edges while the app matures.
License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Candoa Browser on Macs you own or control. You may not redistribute the app as your own, and you may not reverse engineer it except where the law permits.
Subscriptions
Some features, such as hosted access to Eli, may require an account and a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed through Stripe and renew until you cancel. You can manage or cancel your subscription from your account at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. During the alpha, the features included in a subscription may change.
Acceptable use
Do not use the app or the services to break the law, to infringe the rights of others, or to disrupt, overload, or abuse the services.
Disclaimer and liability
Candoa Browser and the candoa.app services are provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app or the services, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product evolves. If the changes are significant, we will make that clear on this page. Continuing to use the app or the services after a change means you accept the updated terms.
